Do you accept my insurance?
In order to provide the optimal care for her patients, Dr. Yates at the Issa Wellness Institute is self-pay only and does not accept insurance.
Private insurance may also be used to pay for lab work and diagnostic imaging deemed medically necessary by Dr. Yates. However, because she is not “in-network” with any insurance provider, these services may not always be covered, and we work with providers who often charge significantly less for “cash only” payments compared to what they bill your insurance provider.
Do you accept Medicare or Medicaid?
As with private insurers, Dr. Yates does not accept Medicare or Medicaid and is self-pay only.
Dr. Yates has opted-out of Medicare/Medicaid and is eligible to provide self-pay healthcare to these types of patients. Medicare/Medicaid patients are not able to submit claims for services rendered by Dr. Yates.

Appointment Costs
New Patient Appointments
$375
New Patient Appointments are a 1 and a half hour comprehensive consult with Dr. Yates. Patients are provided with an assessment form to fill out prior to their first appointment.
This appointment covers your medical history, current health concerns, and formulating a treatment plan, as well as ordering any necessary lab work, diagnostic imaging, and prescription medications or medical supplies.
Follow-Up Appointments
$250
Follow-Up Appointments are 1-hour appointments. These are most commonly scheduled 2-4 months apart, and focus on measuring successes from treatment began at prior appointments, updating treatment protocols, and handling additional issues.
Telemed Appointments
$Varies
Dr. Yates can provide telemed appointments for New and Follow-up Appointments at the same cost as in-person appointments for patients who live out of town or find this method more convenient.
The appointments will cover the same topics, and lab and imaging orders can be mailed or faxed as needed.
